Wintery Day in Kansas on March 28

Who would have thought we would be having blizzard like conditions at the end of March. All the flowers and trees were blooming, grass was turning green and just like that it is all gone. White is all we see now. It is SOOOOOOO hard to be cooped up when we have seen temperatures above 80 degrees and the kids were wearing shorts. I even had to turn on the heating blanket last night.

Just another picture of the pretty snow but yet unwanted. I'm ready for this be over.

We were suppose to have our school carnival this evening but has been rescheduled for next weekend. Watch, it will be 80. Kansas weather really su.. sometimes.

This is what it is like having two teenagers (almost) cooped up due to weather. They were turning in circles to see who could stay standing the longest. They worry me sometimes! Lets just say neither of them felt very well after they were done.

This is what Tim and Brooke love to do in the evenings. Brooke is reading to Dad. She found a book she got at birth that says, "God Gave Us You".

Who would be bored with this! Our life is never dull. These two are quite the pair, aren't they?

The mark on Brooke's chin is from when she and Dylan were playing swords. I was gone the week of spring break for training in Wichita. While Tim and I were talking he hollered and told them not to do that. When I asked what was going on he said, "Brooke and Dylan were playing with wooden swords and I didn't want Dylan to hit Brooke's fingers". I told him to let them go, if someone gets hurt, they won't do it again. I came home to her whining about the cut on the inside of her lip and the scratch on the outside.
