Concert/Easter/7th Birthday

Brooke's spring concert was here and over before we knew it. Her teacher is the best we have had at Mission Valley since the kids have been in school. Brooke sang two songs. Usually the teacher has them sign while they are singing. It seems to keep the kids busy and involved. Tim and I have to learn sign before the concert because she is always practicing. She treats us like her students and we have to sit in front of her while she instructs us. The pressure is on because she is hard on us if we don't get it after a couple of times.

Brooke sang God Bless America and My Flag. She did a wonderful job and we are proud of her. ASPEN, this dress will be coming to you before we know it. Brooke keeps growing so fast that most of her dresses are already to small. I made this one the Saturday before Easter for her.

Easter egg hunt at the city park. The kids are always looking forward to this hunt. It is nothing but candy. The disappointing thing is we are down to just Brooke participating. What has happened to time???? Notice Brooke still is toothless. We still can't see a tooth coming in.

Tim and Cassidy at my sisters house Easter morning. It was a little chilly. Of course, Christy has a big yard and the bunny covered it all. Regardless of the weather Cassidy is wearing her flip flops. Sometimes when it really cold she wears toe socks with them to keep her piggy's warm. She loved her toe sock but they are almost all worn out. Easter bunny brought her a 6 ft poster and t-shirt from her newest love in the world, Twilight. Tim and I are constantly having to stop what we are doing to listen to her talk about a scene from one of the books. Can you say "obsession"?

This is Brooke right before giving up. In fact Brooke went in before she found all of her stuff. As you can see she had hidden her hands because they were frozen. Later the sun did come out and we were able to spend time outside before the rain moved in.

Dylan's 1st turkey. He didn't have school last Friday and wanted to go hunting. He took his best friend and disappeared for about 1 1/2 hours. Before Tim and I could get to work he had call to rub it in to his Dad that he got a turkey. He saved the breast, legs and thighs. I was a little skeptical but it was good. He has gone several other times since then, but came home empty handed.

Tim and Dylan after another unsuccessful turkey hunt. As you can see, Tim and I have a chauffeur everywhere we go.

Cassidy playing in the front yard with the girls at Brooke's party. The ball she has in her hands comes apart and you put a water balloon inside. It has a timer, you set the timer and pass it around. When the timer stops a pin comes out and pops the balloon and you get wet. It popped on Cassidy when trying to put it together yet all the girls had a blast playing. As you can see Cassidy is maturing into a beautiful lady.

Brooke opening gifts from her friends. We had a beautiful day, around 75 degrees and NO wind. Yipee!!

Brooke with her group of friends for her birthday party. All of them stayed over night. Lets just say, our house was crazy. That many girls, whew, that was a handful. We fill like Brooke is tall but when looking at this picture it doesn't seem that way. Aunt Mel and Shea see what you have to look forward to with girls. Boy parties are much easier but I guess you won't know what that is like.
